INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LIMITED.,

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the below mentioned posts at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Haldia Refinery.



POST:
1.Assistant Chemist:
Qualification : B.SC (H) in chemistry with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

2.Jr. Engg. Asstt-IV- (Production)
Qualifiation : B.Sc with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or 3 yrs Diploma in
Chemical Engineering,
1(One) year experience in the operation of continuous chemical process plants in
Fertilizer/Hydrocarbon Sector.
3 Jr. Engg. Asstt-IV- (P&U)
Qualification : B.Sc with Phy.,Chem.,& Math or 3 years Diploma in Mechanical
Engineering.
1 (One) year experience in Power Plant Operation (GT/Steam Turbine) including Raw/DM Water Treatment Plant/Air Compressor handling and RO plant operation.
4 Jr. Engg. Asstt-IV- (Electrical)
Qualification : 3 Yrs. Diploma in Electrical Engineering
1 (One) year experience in maintenance and repair of electrical equipments preferably in Chemical process plants in Fertilizer/Hydrocarbon Sector.
5 Jr. Engg. Asstt-IV (F&S):
Qualification : Matric with Sub-Officer’s course from NFSC-Nagpur & HMV
License; OR ; Matric with
fireman’s course of equivalent
duration & HMV License. (B.Sc with Phy., Chem. & Math along with the aforesaid
qualification will be preferred)
2 (Two) years experience in Fire Service in Petroleum/Petrochemical/Fertilizer or other large scale Industries. Experience may be relaxed in case of suitable candidates.
6 Jr. Engg. Asstt-IV (Instrumentation):
Qualification : 3 yrs Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering / Industrial Electronics
1 (One) yr. experience in maintenance of process control instrumentation in
medium scale process units like Refinery/ petrochemical/fertilizer industries.

AGE LIMIT:
• Minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years as on 31/12/2011 (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates for the posts reserved for them). Age relaxation applicable for Ex- Serviceman/PWD as per Govt. directives.
SELECTION METHODOLOGY:
• Selection would be based on written test / trade test and personal interview. The candidates will have to pass successfully through each stage of the selection process including medical fitness for being adjudged suitable for selection. Canvassing in any form will be considered a disqualification.
• Filling up of vacancies is solely at the discretion of the management based on suitability of candidates and no claim will arise for appointment, if vacancies are not filled due to unsuitability/insufficient number of candidates.
