Combined Graduate Level Exam (CGL) 2012

Educational Qualification : Bachelor degree / Graduation in Any Discipline / Economics / Statistics / Mathematics /  Statistics / Commerce. Candidates appearing in final year of Graduation can also apply.
Pay Scale :
  • Group B : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade pay
  • Group C : Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade pay
Age limit (as on 01.01.2012) : Minimum 18 years – Maximum 27 years (26 years for Statistical Investigator Gr.II & Min. 20 years – Max. 27 years for Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI Post)
Application fee : Rs. 100/- (No Fee for SC / ST / PH / Ex / Women) Payable through CRFS ( Central Recruitment Fee Stamps) available at post offices. OR through SBI Challan / Online Banking account with SBI.
SSC Recruitment Selection Procedure : Written Objective Type examination – Computer Proficiency Test -  Interview – Skill test
How to Apply for SSC CGL Exam : through Online OR through Post
Candidates are provided with option to apply online or through post.
Online :
  • Candidates applying online should visit the online application & fill the part-1 registration & generate Fee payment Challan OR Pay fees through Internet banking (If Applicable)
  • The requisite fee should be paid at any branch of State Bank of India through challan
  • Then again visit the online application & complete the Part – II registration by uploading the photo, signature & fee payment details
  • Take printout of the application form
Offline / through Post :
  • Candidates applying offline should download the application from the link provided below
  • Fill the application, paste recent passport size photograph & put signature at the space provided.
  • Paste the CRF Stamps & send to the SSC Office Address Provided below
Important Dates for SSC CGL Exam :
  • Last date for Part- I registration of online registration : 17.04.2012
  • Last Date for Part – II Registration / Submit application through post : 20.04.2012
  • Last date to receive applications through post from far flung areas : 27.04.2012
  • Date of SSC CGL Examination : 01.07.2012 and 08.07.2012
  • Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Examination, 2012 : 15th & 16th September, 2012
