Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, a statutory regulatory body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare proposes to fill up the post of Director in the Pay Scale of Rs 37400-67000 (PB-4) with Grade Pay of Rs 8700, on Deputation (including Short Terms Contract) or direct recruitment basis. The detailed notice containing application format, terms and conditions, eligibility/experience criteria issued vide circular of even no. dated 22nd Nov,2011 is available on the website of the Authority www.fssai.gov.in .

Officers from Central / State Governments/ UTs/Autonomous Bodies / recognised Research Institutions / Universities / PSUs or semi government/statutory organisations having requisite qualification and experience and who fulfil other eligibility conditions contained in the recruitment notice/circular shall be considered for appointment.

The last date for receiving applications is 02.01.2012. The reference date for eligibility will would be the last date of the date of receipt of applications to determine the eligibility, age limit and qualifications/experience.
