Post and vacancies: Total 162 (one sixty two) vacancies for Management Trainee (Technical) position out of which 81  (eighty one) posts are unreserved, 50 (fifty) posts are reserved for other backward classes category (OBC), 24 (twenty four) posts reserved for scheduled caste (ST) category and the remaining 7 (seven) posts reserved for scheduled tribe category candidates.

Important dates: Online application registration for management trainee posts starts @ www.vizagsteel.com from 4th April, 2012. Closing date for online registration is 23rd April, 2012. Tentative date for written test 10th June, 2012 (Sunday).

Eligibility Criteria for Management Trainee

Age limit: Maximum age required for this post is 25 years (nor born earlier than 01/02/1987). +5 years upper age relaxation available for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe category candidates. +3 years age relaxation available for scheduled tribe. This age relaxation set by Vizag Steel under government of India rules and regulations.

Qualification: Graduation from UGC recognised university in relevant stream with at least 60% aggregate marks (50% aggregate marks for scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and person with disability).

Candidates who appeared in final year examination and looking for the results can also apply for this Vizag Steel Plant MT Recruitment 2012 project. But he/she have to produce original certificate at the time of interview. Candidates who not getting the aggregate marks and not produce the original documents at the time of interview shall not
be considered.

Health: Candidates should be physically with no physical defect. Min requirements are; heath 150 cms, wight 45kgs, etc. No relaxation in these standard. Candidates are refer to see the full advertisement for more details.

Selection Procedure for MT post

Persons who successfully applied will be invited for written test. Admit card will be send to candidates to inform about written test date, examination centre, roll number etc. According to the performance shortlisted will be given call letter form Group Discussion / Interview.

Total five examination centre decided by Vizag Steel for written test i.e. Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. Candidates have to choose one of them at the time of online registration.

Written test will comprise General Awareness, Numerical Ability, General English, Verbal
and Non Verbal Reasoning and separate paper for each discipline.

Selected candidates will be offered basic salary Rs. 20,600 (Twenty thousand and six hundred rupee only) per month in the pay band Rs. 20,600 (Twenty thousand and six hundred rupee only) to Rs. 46500 (Forty six thousand and five hundred rupee only)

Application process

Fee: Candidates who belongs to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe category are exempted from the application fee. Rs. 500 (Five hundred rupee only) for general and other backward classes category candidates.

Deposit application fee in favor of “RINL/VSP Recruitment Account No. 30589461220” at of State Bank of India (SBI) branches. Don’t forget to take receipt, which will be required at the time of online registration, interview etc.
